Katrina’s Cannes outing is lacklustre
Katrina Kaif got onto the Cannes red carpet not because a film of hers was being showcased or anything mundane like that but because she is the ambassador for a beauty brand. So, you know, a real achievement.
On day 1 for media interviews,she wore this Milly dress. Its very unlike Katrina. We mean, she would not normally go in for a dress like this. But it was a risk and it totally paid off. So a great start to her Cannes outing.
She crushed all our hopes and dreams when she hit the red carpet in this strapless Oscar de la Renta. And while theres nothing particularly wrong with the gown and Katrina does not look bad like thats ever possible the entire look lacks spunk. Like nobody is asking her to wear a glittery top and short shorts but it all feels flat.Also, where have we seen that dress before?
For the second day, she chose a red Elie Saab. Like the previous look, its not bad but its not exciting. Like nobody is going to jump up with joy and go, “Thats what Im talking about, Katrina!”
It feels too red. Like a firetruck rolled onto the red carpet. A very pretty looking firetruck.
Add to this her hair thats also got red highlights. The look is for her film Fitoor.
Katrina could have done so much better. This could have been the outing where she took a few fashion risks and changed her fashion game around.
